Centrik, the operational management system supplier, has grown its senior team with a new key appointment supporting customers in the airport, regulator and AOC sectors in Canada.
Jerry Higgins joins Centrik as Head of Sales (Canada) and brings more than four decades of experience in aviation at every level from pilot to regulator. Most recently he served as the Director of Air Safety Regulation for the Civil Aviation Authority of the Cayman Islands, and spent 14 years working for Transport Canada, in roles that included Regional Superintendent Certification and Flight Operations, and Manager Commercial and Business Aviation, Pacific Region.
In his new role, Higgins will provide an expert point of contact for Centrik customers in Canada and beyond. He says: “Centrik has revolutionised how operators manage their business. Once adopted and implemented, it weaves its way into the fabric of the organisation. We all know that one of the best ways safety is advanced within the aviation industry, is through the sharing of best practices. The incorporation of Centrik as an Aviation Management System into an organisation, in my view, is a modern day industry best practise. For this reason, when offered the prospect of joining the Centrik team, I seized the opportunity.”
Centrik is an ICAO-compliant operational management system. Originally developed by aviation experts to support AOCs, the system has since become fully tailored to also provide operational management for regulators, airports, MROs, ATOs, UAS and Part-NCC operators.

Centrik provides complete operational management for the aviation, military, maritime and banking sectors, and helps ensure regulatory compliance.
